Engine Fault Codes
How to Retrieve Engine Fault
Codes
When the engine Electronic Control Module
(ECM) detects an abnormal operating condition,
a fault code is immediately stored in the ECM
memory. At the same time, a colored warning
lamp is illuminated and the fault code is shown
on the engine diagnostic display, located on the
dashboard in the operator's compartment.
