Test Stowed Drive Speed
72 Press and hold the lift function enable button,
and press the platform down button.
Result: The platform should lower.
73 Press and hold the drive/steer function enable
switch on the control handle. Slowly move the
control handle to full drive position in the
direction indicated by the blue arrow.
Result: The maximum achievable drive speed
with the platform stowed should not exceed
2 m per second.
74 Press and hold the drive/steer function enable
switch on the control handle. Slowly move the
control handle to full drive position in the
direction indicated by the yellow arrow.
Result: The maximum achievable drive speed
with the platform stowed should not exceed
1.34 m per second.
If the drive speed in reverse with the platform
stowed exceeds 1.34 m per second, immediately
tag and remove the machine from service.
Use the button pattern on the platform
controls to determine which of these next
two function tests to perform.
Use this function test procedure if the decal on your
platform controls has these buttons.
Test the Outrigger System (if equipped)
75 Press and hold the high speed lift enable
button.
76 Press and hold the platform up button.
Result: The platform should raise. Raise the
platform to approximately 2.4 m and stop.
77 Press and hold the outrigger enable button.
Result: The outriggers should not extend.
78 Press and hold the outrigger extend button.
Result: The outriggers should not extend.
79 Press and hold the outrigger enable button.
Press the outrigger extend button.
Result: The outriggers should not extend.
80 Fully lower the platform.
81 Press and hold the outrigger enable button.
Result: The outriggers should not extend.
