Inspect the Engine Air Filter

Genie specifications require that this procedure be
performed every 40 hours or weekly, whichever
comes first.

Maintaining the engine air filter in good condition is
essential to good engine performance and service
life. Failure to perform this procedure can lead to
poor engine performance and component damage.

Kubota D1105 and D905 models:

 Pull up on

the engine tray locking pin, located under the
radiator on the engine pivot tray. Swing the
engine pivot tray out and away from the
machine for access.

2

Kubota D1105 and D905 models:

 Remove the

wingnut securing the end cap to the air cleaner
canister. Remove the end cap.

All other models:

 Disconnect the retaining

clamps securing the end cap to the air cleaner
canister. Remove the end cap.

3 Remove the air filter element.

4 Clean the inside of the air filter canister and the

canister gasket with a damp cloth.

5 Inspect for and remove any blockage or debris

from the intake air passages.
