8.3 Differential protection (for S versions only).
The “S” versions also have protection against current leakage, because they have
a differential of 30mA . This protection can detect a current leak in a circuit (for
example, a discharge to the user), cutting the voltage output instantly.
In case of impact or jump, you should check all cables and insulation of the
generator and possible contacts of the cables with water. After generator
checking, activate the differential as shown in the figure below.
WARNING: For the differential to work correctly, the ground wire must be
connected properly.
8.4 Electrical sockets with IP44 - IP67 protection.
The basic versions include sockets with IP44 protection. The “S” versions have
IP67 sockets, which have a higher level of protection against water and solids. The
IP67 socket is safer to the user and it gives a better protection against possible
discharges caused by water or moisture, when handling the sockets.
