Understanding the Features of Your Vehicle
KEY SWITCH
When the key is in the ‘ON’ position (turned clockwise), the display will
light up and all accessories may be turned on. When the key is in the
‘OFF’ position, the car will not accelerate but accessories and lights
will remain on for approximately 20 seconds.
Do not leave the key in the ‘ON’ position when not in use.
Doing so will discharge the batteries.
CAUTION!
Always bring the vehicle to a complete stop before chang-
ing the position of the forward/reverse switch.
CAUTION!
ZERO SPEED DETECT
If the vehicle is moving while the key switch is on and accelerator pedal
up, the electric motor will resist vehicle motion.
