Disabling the Audio Decoder
1. Open the Sound panel (Start ► Control Panel ► Sounds).
2. Select the default audio device and click the
Set Default
button.
3. The selected (default) playback device will have a green check mark next to it,
indicating that this device is the primary sound driver. The
Set Default
button will
now be disabled.
4. The
Power / Streaming
LED indicator, on the
High Resolution USB to Analog and
Digital Audio Decoder
will glow solid blue. Any audio that is played-back on the com-
puter will now use the default sound driver.
