Appendix

Installing under Windows 8

Follow the instructions, below, when installing the software under Windows® 8. 

1.  Download the latest version of the software driver from the Gefen Web site.

2.  Extract the files from the .ZIP file to a folder on your Windows Desktop.

3.  Make sure that the 

High Resolution USB to Analog and Digital Audio Decoder 

is connected to the computer.

4.  Double-click the 

Setup.exe

 file.

5.  Click the 

OK

 button to dismiss the dialog box.

6.  Another dialog box will be displayed (see next page), indicating there is a compatibility 

issue with the software driver installation program.
