When connecting a DisplayPort cable between the source and the DisplayPort 

Detective Plus, the cable should not exceed 30 feet (10 meters) in length.

• 

The DisplayPort cable between the 

DisplayPort Detective Plus

 and the display 

(or other sink device) should not exceed 50 feet (15 meters) in length.

• 

The DisplayPort Detective Plus comes with 1 default EDID profile and 7

 

pre-programmed EDID banks.  If the contents of these banks are erased or

 

over-written, the original EDID data cannot be restored.
