5.5 Using E-mail
Composing and sending an E-mail
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email , then tap an e-
mail account.
2. Tap Menu > Compose .
3. In the To field, enter the recipient’s e-mail address.
TIP: To add recipients from Contacts, tap To or tap
Menu > Add Recipient , then select the
names.
4. Enter the Subject .
5. Compose your message.
6. Tap
Send .
Sending an E-mail from Contacts
You can send an e-mail to a contact with an e-mail
address stored in Contacts.
1. On the Home screen, tap
Contacts .
2. Tap a name to open contact.
3. Tap
Send e-mail .
4. Enter the Subject and compose the message.
5. Tap Send .
Adding attachments to an e-mail message
1. Before sending your message, tap Menu > Attach .
2. Select the picture you want to attach.
Receiving e-mails
E-mails are automatically received in your Inbox when
your phone connects to wireless network.
To manually receive e-mails
1. Tap Application Drawer > Email , then tap an e-mail
account.
2. Tap Menu > Send/Receive .
Reading and replying to e-mails
The Inbox displays the email headers. When you open the e-mail, it shows only a part
of the message, unless it is a very short message. Download the e-mail to view the
complete content.
