Interval Maintenance work
Every six months • Have an electrician or an authorised specialist workshop perform a
check and take measurements in order to establish any defects or

damage that could affect safety.
This check should include measuring the following values:
- Insulation resistance
- Dielectric strength
- Leakage current
- Contact current
However, this does not replace any specific national regulations and
legislation that might prescribe further checks and maintenance work.
Every year • Have an authorised specialist workshop check the press capacity and
the state of wear
Maintenance
Clean and lubricate the pressing device
Prerequisites
Pressing device is switched off.
WARNING
Risk of injury by switching on inadvertently

Unplug the mains connector before starting any
maintenance work on the tool
CAUTION
Damage to the device by moisture

Never immerse the pressing device in water or other
liquids
Clean the roller drive and locking pin of the pressing device 1
Use compressed air or a brush to remove dirt 2
Use WD-40® or equivalent to lubricate the roller drive, its

guide and the locking pin
Wipe away excess grease 4
