Cause

Actions
• Press start button again: Roller drive moves to
its starting position
• Repeat the pressing operation: Press the start
button for about two seconds
• Press stop button again
• Press start button: Roller drive moves to its
starting position
• Repeat the pressing operation
• Press stop button
• Press start button
• Only process permitted pressing systems, see
chapter "Use"
• Repeat the pressing operation
Mains voltage is too low • Check the mains power
• Fully unreel the cable drum of the extension
cable
• If using several extension cables: Reduce
extension
Pressing tool is faulty • Press the stop button after a power failure
• Press start button
• If this is not successful, send the pressing tool
to a service centre for checking
Power failure • Press stop button
• Press start button: Roller drive moves to its
starting position
• Check the pressfitting for leaks and repeat the
pressing operation if necessary
Maintenance schedule
An inspection sticker on the pressing tool indicates the date when the
next service is due. The pressing tool must always be taken for
maintenance together with the pressing jaws in its transport case.

Regularly • Check the pressing tool and mains cable for externally visible defects
and damage that could affect safety
• Clean and lubricate the pressing tool
• Clean and lubricate pressing jaws/adapters and pressing collars/
MapressMAM jaw adapters: see operating instructions of the particular
system
