Reattaching or Replacing the Battery Compartment
Door
To open the
Battery Compartment Door
, slide back the
Latch
as shown
in the previous section.
If you further open the
Battery Compartment Door
, it will detach from
the recorder housing.
To reattach or to replace the
Battery Compartment Door
, hold the door
as shown in the left grahic below and push it into its bearings.
NOTICE
RECORDER DAMAGE – The
Battery Compartment Door
can be at-
tached to the recorder housing in one orientation only.
Attach the
Battery Compartment Door
as shown in the left graphic
below. Do not try to attach the
Battery Compartment Door
any other
way.
Switching on the Recorder
Press the
Event Button
in the middle of the recorder casing to switch on
the recorder.
NOTE
If both LED alternatively flash between green and yellow three times per
second, the recorder is defective and service is needed. Refer to the sec-
tion “How to Notify Service if the Recorder is Defective” on page 91.
