display initial material thickness (Refer to

MATERIAL
—Selects the material being tested. Choose designa-
tions with “T” (transverse) for angle beam probes. Sets velocity to
value that approximately matches material specified. (Refer to

)

LEG
—Sets the number of ultrasonic legs displayed, modifying the
displayed range. (Refer to

TOF MODE
—Indicates whether the triggering echo’s flank or
peak is used when making sound-path measurements. (Refer to

—Determines whether the gate alarm is triggered when a
signal crosses the gate or does not cross the gate. (Refer to

)

GATE DISPLAY
—Shows or hides selected gate. Gate continues to
function, even when hidden.
