Function:
Sets the baud rate
Note:
The parameter must be a valid Baud-rate number.
Query Syntax
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial:BAUD?
Short form:
:SYST:COMM:SER:BAUD?
Function:
Queries current baud setting.
Response:
Current baud setting.
Description
This command instructs the instrument to set the baud rate. The command query returns
the current baud rate set in the instrument.
Example
TX> :SYST:COMM:SER:BAUD?
RX> :SYST:COMM:SER:BAUD 9600
The current baud-rate is 9600 bit/second.
It can be set to another baud rate (example: 19200) by sending:
TX> :SYST:COMM:SER:BAUD 19200
Notes
1: The parameter must be a valid baud rate number:
2: Changing to a new baud rate causes a loss of communications until resetting the local PC
