Vent Fan Motor Capacitor
The vent fan motor capacitor is located on the top
of the oven above the cooling fan.
The motor capacitor is rated at 10
μ
F.
To remove the vent fan motor capacitor:
Remove the outer cover. (See

Disconnect wiring to the motor condenser.

Remove the Phillips-head screw that attaches

Cooling Fan and Motor
The cooling fan and motor are located on the right
side of the microwave oven.
To remove the cooling fan and motor:

Remove the magnetron. (See

Using pliers, remove the fan retainer from the

fan motor shaft.

4. Carefully pull the fan off of the fan motor shaft.
5. Remove 3 Phillips-head screws that attach the
fan motor to the duct assembly.
6. Disconnect wiring to the fan motor.
7. Remove the fan motor through the control panel
opening.
