To change the order (position) of a module, select it and click
Properties
. The
Module
Properties
dialog box displays. Enter the numerical value of the new position the module is to
have. The position numbering starts at 0.
The other information in this dialog box is generated by the GSD file associated with the Slave
module.
Note:
The Data field corresponds t
o the module’s configuration identifier as defined in the
PROFIBUS specification.

When finished adding modules, click
OK
. The modules display under the
Slave
node in the
Hardware Configuration
.
Note:
To add, remove, or change the order of modules associated with an existing slave,
right-click the Slave node in the Hardware Configuration and select Configure. The
Properties dialog box for the selected slave opens.
