Pipe Wall

If the pipe wall thickness is not available, look up the value in a table of standard pipe size data or use the Model
GF868’s on-line
Help Menu
(see the
Programming Manual
for details).

of the ultrasonic signal. Press
[ENT].
(The meter will only accept values from 1/8 to 900 in.)

The factory has calculated both the transducer signal path length
(P)
and the transducer signal axial length
(L)
, based on the exact transducer configuration used for the application. These values are engraved on the
flowcell and/or are included in the documentation supplied with the meter.

Note:
Reynolds Correction is a number based on the Kinematic Viscosity and flow rate of the fluid. It should be
enabled for most applications.

When you enable the Reynolds Correction Factor, you must also enter the
Kinematic Viscosity
of your gas, as
listed in
Sound Speeds and Pipe Size Data.
Use the numeric keys to enter a value, and press
[ENT]
.

Enter a value for the flow
Calibration Factor
and press
[ENT]
. The default value is 1.00. (The meter will only accept
values from 0.5000 to 2.0000.)
