Calculating battery life in standby time
bc = battery capacity (FP402, FP404) = 2.6 A/h x 80% = 2.08 Ah
bc = battery capacity (FP408, FP412, FP416) = 7 A/h x 80% = 5.6 Ah
pa = panel current in mains fault (including all EOL resistors) (mA)
pc = panel current in alarm in 1 zone (including all EOL resistors) (mA)
yy = detector current (refer to detector instruction manual) (uA)
zz = number of detectors in installation
aux = auxiliary current (mA)
Sounder = sounder current (refer to sounder instruction manual) (mA)

Example calculation (using FP408)
Zone 1: 15 optical detectors
Zone 2: 10 manual call points
Zone 3: 5 heat detectors
Use 50 mA on auxillary
Use 300 mA on sounders
Total current for detectors (de):
(zz x yy)
------------ = de
1000
de (zone 1) = 15 x 100/1000 = 1.5 mA
de (zone 2) = 0 (manual call point has no current in standby)
de (zone 3) = 5 x 100/1000 = 0.5 mA
de = 1.5 + 0 + 0.5 = 2 mA
Standby current (sc):
pa + de + aux = sc
pa (FP408) = 110
110 + 2 + 50 = 162
Current with 1 zone in alarm (zc):
