The test set performs a self-test, resulting in a test set system colour status
indication of either “READY”, “NOT READY” or “FAULT”.
The states of the main pressure control and pneumatic isolation valves
associated with protecting connected aircraft systems are presented on the
mimic panel (see
Figure 6 ) both during and after self-test.
When status indicators Static Ground Vent ( 4 ) and Zero Ps/Pt cross vent ( 7 )
are illuminated (Red) the test set is in the ‘SAFE AT GROUND’ state and the
external aircraft system may be safely connected or disconnected.
Note: If the self-test fails, or for any other reason the test set is considered to
be unserviceable, contact GE and return the test set to the GE or GE approved
service centre.

- Not Ready, self-test in progress (Orange)
- Ready, self-test passed (Green)
- Fault (Red)
