Power level indicator
The USM 36 is equipped with a power level indicator
that allows to estimate the remaining operating time of
the instrument. A battery icon with the corresponding
charge level is displayed in the top right corner on top of
the A-scan.
The USM 36 is automatically powered off if the opera-
tion is no longer ensured. All settings are retained during
battery exchange and are immediately available again
afterwards.
Note
If the battery charge level is low, it is abso-
lutely necessary that you finish your test job,
power off the instrument, and replace the
battery. You should carry a second battery
along with you if you cannot use mains pow-
er supply to operate the instrument.
