USM 36
– Use the arrow keys to enter the required password.
You can enter a maximum of 12 characters.
– Press one of the two selector keys to complete the
password entry.
– Enter the password again and press one of the selec-
tor keys. The new password is saved.
Changing a password
You can change the password at any time. To do this,
you must first enter the current password.
– Switch to the second operating level.
– Select the function group

– Select the function
PASSWORD
.
– Enter the current password.
– Press one of the selector keys to complete the pass-
word entry.
– Enter a new password.
– Press one of the selector keys to complete the entry
of the new password.
– Enter the password again and press one of the selec-
tor keys. The new password is saved.
Note
If you only enter an empty character as pass-
word, the password protection is canceled
and all functions are freely accessible again.
