Flow Control
If operating in full-duplex mode, the MII interface
can apply IEEE 802.3x flow control.
Flow Control enable:
Enables or disables flow control.
Automatic Back pressure and Flow Control:
In MAC mode, Back Pressure and Flow Control
mechanisms are automatically activated or
deactivated according to the speed and duplex
configuration (see
General Settings
and
MAC
Command sections
). If this feature is disabled
Back Pressure and Flow Control must be manually
set.
Pause Packet Handling: discard
: PAUSE packets are
discarded,
forward
: PAUSE packets are forwarded
to the 10BaseS link
Flow Control Start Level:
PAUSE packets are
generated if less than the adjusted amount of free
space is left in the receive FIFO.
Flow Control Stop Level:
Generation of PAUSE
packets is stopped if more than the adjusted
amount of free space is left in the receive FIFO.

Back Signaling Threshold:
Back Signaling is started if the adjusted receive buffer threshold is
exceeded.
1st Source Address Octet Transmitted:
Defines the first PAUSE source address octet, which is
transmitted. The next 40 bits are 0.
