1. GENERAL
1.1. INFORMATION ABOUT THIS INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL
These instructions apply to point of use regulators of the type:
•
PTLH0FT, PTLHEFT
Point of use regulators are stationary at the points of consumption of a central gas supply system at the
points of use of a central gas supply system. They are used to reduce the line pressure level to the desired,
low pressure of the gas consumers. The standard version PTLHxFT consists of inlet shut-off valve, pressure
reducer, pressure gauge and mounting plate. These instructions enable you to operate the system safely and
effi ciently. These instructions form an integral part of the system and must always be kept with the system
and within easy reach of staff at all times.
Prior to commencing any work, the staff must read these instructions carefully and understand the contents.
Observance of all the safety information and instructions for operation that are contained in these instructions
is essential to ensure work safety.
Local accident prevention regulations and general safety regulations governing the use of the system must
also be observed.
Illustrations in these instructions serve to ensure a basic understanding of the system and may diff er from
the actual version.
1.2. INFORMATION ON THE POINT OF USE REGULATOR
Point of use regulators of this type may only be used with the gases defi ned as standard gas.
The maximum working pressure for these point of use regulator is 300 bar.
