8. Mechanics Setup
Take the manufacturer’s manual with the assembly sketches and start assembly of your model helicopter according to the
drawings starting on page 6.

Upper figure:
The upper figure shows the schematic installation of the gearbox. At assembly, observe correct installation of the freewheel
and ensure that the two screws M3 x3 interlock precisely with the grooves in the freewheel shaft.
Lower figure:
Attach the gear plate and the components presented in the drawing to the right chassis plate. Use threadlocker varnish for
every screw connection.

Upper figure:
Install the left chassis plate according to the figure. The two screws M3 x 18 must only be tightened after installation of the
tail tube and setting of the tooth backlash of the tail rotor shaft (also see page 15). Use threadlocker varnish for every screw
connection.
Lower figure:
Put the square spacers between the chassis plates according to the figure. Then attach the front, bottom and tail plate to
the spacers. The chassis plates must be turned so that the countersunk screws are flush with the surface.
Use threadlocker varnish for every screw connection.
Important!
The floor plate is initially only attached by the middle screw and only tightened after assembly of the landing gear
(see page 8).

Upper figure:
Mount the landing gear according to the drawing and screw it to the helicopter chassis. The four cover plugs of the skid
tubes are fastened with instant adhesive.
Lower figure:
Put the motor carrier incl. ball bearings on the motor and tighten the two screws (M3x6) so that the motor can still be
pushed back and forth on the carrier with gentle pressure. Then install the motor pinion on the motor shaft and fasten the
pinion with two grub screws M3x3.
Important:
As twist protection, the motor shaft is flattened to provide a large application area for the grub screw.
The pinion position on the motor shaft must be selected so that the distance from the sprocket to the motor carrier plate is
7 mm. Use threadlocker varnish for every screw connection.
