8. Mechanics Setup
Take the manufacturer’s manual with the assembly sketches and start assembly of your model helicopter according to the
drawings starting on page 6.
Page 6
When installing the chassis plates, observed correct placement of the screws M3x4 and M3x6. Use threadlocker varnish for
every screw connection. The pins at the three ball bearing blocks must interlock with the chassis plate bores precisely. For
the precise position of the moving servo retainers, observe the build of the servos used (see page 27).
Page 7
Use the small screwdriver that is pushed through the canopy holder bore to screw the holders tight. The tail boom holders
must be installed so that the penetrating bore is at the bottom left in flight direction. The two retention screws M3x20 are
only tightened firmly after installation of the tail boom (see page 19). Use threadlocker varnish for every screw connection.
Page 8 - 12
During further assembly, observe correct placement of the installation parts and the different screw lengths. Tighten the
canopy holder with a thin screwdriver and use threadlocker varnish for every screw connection.
Page 13
When installing the battery plate holders (screws M3x20), observe that they must be put in differed bores on the right and
left of the chassis (also see upper figure, page 32).
Page 14
Maintain the distances of the guide clamps for the tail rotor linkage precisely.
Page 15
When bonding the ball bearings to the tail rotor drive shaft, observe that no adhesive gets into the ball bearing. Maintain the
distances of the bearings according to the drawing precisely. Put a little grease on the ball bearing centring rings so that they
can be pushed into the tail boom more easily.
Important!
The centring pin for the tail rotor drive shaft has different diameters. The side with a diameter of 4.5 mm must be
pushed into the tail rotor shaft’s bevel gear from the front.
Page 16 - 17
The two sides show the schematic setup of the already pre-installed tail rotor gear and the assembly of the tail rotor. Check
that the screws are tightened and secured in all components.
