Power Supplies
Standard equipment includes three hot-pluggable, redundant power supplies (two
350-Watt N+1 modules and one spare). The system can support up to four
identical power supply modules which yield a redundant power of 700-Watts.
Installing a Power Supply Module
1. Remove the screws that secure the cover plate for the power supply bay.
Save the screws.
2. Remove the cover plate and discard or save for future use.
3. Remove the power supply from its protective packaging.
4. Holding the power supply by the handle, gently slide it into the power supply
bay and push in until the back panel of the power supply is aligned evenly
with the rest of the power supplies.
5. Secure the power supply with the screws you removed in step 1.
6. Turn on the power supply switch.
