You may use any grilling/cooking utensil made of plastic or wood.
IMPORTANT -
While removing the grilling plate from the housing, ensure that there
are no residues of juices dripping. Especially at the lower side of the drain slits,
there may be still some droplets. Remove the grilling plate carefully. If required,
dab via a kitchen towel.
CAUTION
– Do not place or immerse the grilling plate in any liquids. Do
not pour or spill any liquids on the underside of the grilling plate. Otherwise, the
electrical connectors of the grilling plate may get damaged!
3. Grasp the grilling plate at both handles and carefully pull the grilling plate
straight upwards for removing the grilling plate from the appliance.
4. Clean the grilling surface with a soft cloth or soft sponge, damped with warm
dishwater. Additionally, clean the area of the drain slits at the underside of the
grilling plate, removing any residues of droplets. If required, remove any pollu-
tion from the underside of the grilling plate via a soft cloth or sponge that will
not drip. However,
keep the electrical contacts of the grilling plate absolutely
dry.
5. Thereafter, wipe with clear tap water. Doing so, do not spill water on the under-
side of the grilling plate. Then, thoroughly wipe dry.
6. Ensuring not to spill the juices, carefully pull the drawer out of the console. Remo-
ve and empty the drip tray. Dispose of the juices as compost or in a tightly clo-
sed vessel in domestic waste.
7. Clean the drawer and drip tray in warm dishwater, using a soft brush or soft
cloth. Rinse the parts with clear water and wipe dry.
8. Wipe the housing and power cord carefully with a soft cloth or soft sponge,
slightly damped with warm dishwater. Ensure that the liquid cannot drip on the
housing. Remove any splashes and drops of fat and juices. Wipe with clear tap
water. Thereafter, wipe dry.
9. Leave all parts dry naturally for approx. 1/2 hour, where the parts are
out of
reach of young children and animals.
10. Ensure that the underside of the grilling plate is absolutely dry. Then replace the
grilling plate.
11. Replace the drip tray in the drawer. Push the drawer into the cavity in the centre
of the console.
