Type of Food
Making nutrient juices and smoothies Fruits, vegetables, herbs
Blending
Light, runny batters, dips, vinaigrette,
dressings, smooth sauces
Frozen blending
Crushing ice (insert up to 4 ice cubes

•
Hard or solid types of food:
Cut your food in cubes of approx. 1 - 1,5 cm in
size (e.g. carrots). Process max. 240 g at once. Always add some liquid (fill up
to max. 360 g).
•
Liquids and soft types of food:
max. 600 g.
• For processing larger amounts, divide your food in appropriate portions. At the
maximum, the mixing jar may be filled up to the “600 ml” marking.
• Do not operate the appliance with an empty mixing jar.
• Do not process hot food or liquid. Otherwise, high pressure could build up within
the mixing jar, causing injuries and damage.
• The on/off button and safety interlocks ensure easy and safe operation: The motor
only operates with the mixing jar assembled completely and locked in the motor
base correctly, and while the on/off button is pressed.
• To ensure that the appliance will not fall or move on the working space, keep a
hand on the mixing jar while the motor is operating.
• The appliance will process your food within seconds. In most cases, long processing
times will not be necessary. The best results are usually achieved using short pulses.
• Do not operate the appliance for more than 1 minute continuously when processing
liquid or soft ingredients, and not more than 30 seconds continuously when
processing hard or solid types of food. Allow the appliance to rest for 1 minute
between each cycle. This prevents damage to the motor from overheating.
• If the blades get stuck or operate noticeably slow, stop operation immediately
and add some liquid, and/or reduce the amount of ingredients in the mixing jar.
