• Clean the motor base with a soft damp cloth and a little mild detergent. Wipe
with a soft, dry cloth.
• Clean the mixing jar, blade unit and lids in warm water with a soft sponge and
mild detergent after each use. Wipe with a dry and soft cloth. These accessories
can also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
• Alternatively, clean the mixing jar and blade unit by filing the mixing jar with
max. 300 ml water and, if necessary, a little mild detergent. Lock the mixing jar
on the motor base and use the pulse function several times. Empty the mixing jar
and rinse it and the blade unit until clean.
• The appliance may only be used again after it is dried completely.
STORAGE
• Before storage, always make sure that the appliance is completely dry, cooled
down and clean.
• Store the appliance in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and out of the
reach of children.
• Preferably store the appliance in its original packaging.
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
In case of dysfunctions, immediately turn off the appliance and unplug the power
cord from the power outlet.
Only perform the steps described in this instruction manual! All further inspection,
maintenance and repair work must be performed by an authorized service center or
a similarly qualified specialist.

The motor

start and the
blades do

The safety interlock is active,
because the blade unit or the
mixing jar are not installed
correctly.
For motor operation, the blade unit must be screwed
correctly onto the mixing jar and the mixing jar must be
locked correctly onto the motor base.
The blade unit is blocked.
Remove the mixing jar from the motor base and take out
any obstacles. Use short pulses.
If the problem persists: Attempt to start the motor with the
mixing jar filled with some water.
If the problem still persists: Refer to the following entry.
The overheating protection is
active.
Unplug the appliance and remove the mixing jar from the
motor base. Let the appliance cool down for approx. 30
minutes. Thereafter, try again.
