10.5 Adjusting the high-speed compression damping of the shock absorber
Caution
Risk of injury Parts of the shock absorber will move around if the shock absorber is detached incorrectly.
The shock absorber is filled with highly compressed nitrogen.

The effect of the high speed compression adjuster can be seen in the fast compression of the shock absorber.

all the way clockwise with a socket wrench.

Do not loosen fitting

Turn counterclockwise by the number of turns corresponding to the
shock absorber type.
Guideline
Highspeed compression damping (MC 450F)
Comfort 2 turns
Standard 1.5 turns
Sport 1 turn
Highspeed compression damping (MC 450F TROY LEE DESIGNS)
Comfort 2.5 turns
Standard 2 turns
Sport 1.5 turns
Highspeed compression damping (EX)
Comfort 2.5 turns
Standard 2 turns
Sport 1.5 turns

Turn clockwise to increase damping; turn counterclockwise
to reduce damping.
