Finishing work

Install front fender. ( p. 53)

Mount the handlebar cushion.

Install the start number plate. ( p. 52)

Install the front wheel. ( p. 90)

Check that the wiring harness, throttle cables, and brake and clutch
lines can move freely and are routed correctly.

Check the steering head bearing for play. ( p. 50)
–
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 44)
11.11 Checking the steering head bearing play

be glad to help.)
Info
If the vehicle is operated for a lengthy period with play in the steering head bearing, the bearings and the bearing
seats in the frame can become damaged over time.
Preparatory work

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 44)
