Active Flight Plan Shortcuts
To cancel a parallel track to your flight plan.
1. Wth the Actve Flght Plan Page dsplayed,
press MENU to dsplay the Actve Flght Plan
Page Optons wndow.
2. Turn the
large right
knob to hghlght “Parallel
Track?” and press
ENT
.
3. “Cancel?” s hghlghted. Press
ENT
.
Change Fields
Change Fields? allows you to select the desired
data items to display on the active flight plan page.
1. Wth the Actve Flght Plan Page dsplayed,
press MENU to dsplay the Actve Flght Plan
Page Optons wndow.
2. Turn the
large right
knob to hghlght
“Change Felds?” and press
ENT
. The field
actve for selecton wll flash. Turn the
large
right
knob to hghlght the field to change.
3. Turn the small right knob to open the lst of
selectons and contnue turnng t to hghlght
the desred selecton and then press
ENT .
Restore Defaults
Restore Defaults? returns the data items to fac-
tory defaults.
1. Wth the Actve Flght Plan Page dsplayed,
press MENU to dsplay the Actve Flght Plan
Page Optons wndow.
2. Turn the
small right
knob to hghlght
“Restore Defaults?” and then press
ENT
.
Shortcuts
A number of shortcuts are available to save time
when using the active flight plan page. These shortcuts
speed the process of removing approaches, departures,
and arrivals, and aid in selecting a specific flight plan
leg for navigation guidance.
On the preceding page, options to remove
approaches, departures and arrivals were introduced.
This process may also be completed using the
CLR
key, as described below and illustrated at left.
To remove an approach, departure, or arrival
using the CLR key:
1. Wth the actve flght plan page dsplayed, press
the small right knob to actvate the cursor.
2. Turn the large right knob to hghlght the
ttle for the approach, departure or arrval you
wsh to delete. Ttles wll appear n lght blue
drectly above the procedure’s wayponts.
3. Press
CLR
to dsplay a confirmaton wndow.
4. Wth “Yes?” hghlghted, press ENT to remove
the selected procedure.
