2.3 VERTICAL MODES
VERTICAL MODE CONTROLS AND ANNUNCIATIONS
The table below lists the vertical modes with their corresponding controls and
annunciations. The mode reference is displayed next to the active mode annunciation
on the GMC 605 for Altitude Hold, Vertical Speed, and Indicated Airspeed modes.
The
NOSE UP/DN
wheel can be used to change the vertical mode reference while
operating in Pitch Hold, Vertical Speed, Indicated Airspeed, or Altitude Hold modes.
Increments of change and acceptable ranges of values for each of these references
using the
NOSE UP/DN
wheel are also listed in the table.
