TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
Lift System

Gap Problems
Move platen to diff erent heights via the
diagnostics and see if it follows.
If it does not follow check the error
log for encoder errors, possible
actuator replacement, If it does
follow check the recipe for gaps
Possible gap issue.
Verify gap using 1” gauge block
Platen jammed
Possible over travel switch.
Check limit switches
Possible actuator failure.
Check the actuator for damage
Possible SIB fuse failure.
Confi rm SIB output to motor is
present.
Platen over travel
Possible limit switch failure.
Check limit switch for correct
operation
Possible SIB I/O failure.
Check LED and manually operate
limit switches.
Possible calibration issue.
Verify lift system calibration if
possible
Possible setting issue.
Check virtual upper limit switch
setting to ensure it is set below over
travel limit
Possible limit switch bracket issue.
Check that the bracket is not loose
