Wiring (When connected to the Series 1000 Controller):
When the XMX Demand Expander is provided for operation with a Gardner Denver Series 1000
Compressed Air Management System, the XMX-1V controller is not required. Instead, the valve
and P4 pressure transmitter connections are made on the terminal strip in the Series 1000
controller as follows.
Connect the P3 Pressure Transmitter to terminals A1+ and A1- in the Series 1000 controller.
Connect the P4 Pressure Transmitter to terminals A2+ and A2- in the Series 1000 controller.
Connect the VRC valve positioner to terminals O1+ and O1- in the Series 1000 controller.
As with the XMX-1V controller above, use two wire twisted and shielded pair wire for each
connection. Ground the shield on the Series 1000 terminal strip only. DO NOT GROUND THE
SHIELD AT THE TRANSMITTER END OF THE CABLE.
