Before starting any installation, cleaning or maintenance work, disconnect the device from the mains power supply.

If power cables or sockets are damaged, immediately disconnect the device from the power supply, do not continue to
use the device.
5.1.
INSTALLING THE CABLE REEL
ü
Have 2 people carry out the installation work.
1. Remove the storage surface from the roller cabinet.
2. Empty the roller cabinet.
3. Lock the roller cabinet.

Drawers are prevented from opening accidentally.
4. Place the roller cabinet on its back.
5. Remove the fixed wheel

6. Remove the cover

(1, 2) of the socket strip in the side compartment by removing four M3 x 8 screws.
7. Guide the cable of the socket strip through the cable duct. For details of how to guide in the cable in the roller cabinet
see

(5).

The cable duct is located at the side opening next to the castors/wheels.
8. Insert the socket strip

(3).
9. Fasten the socket strip using the four M3 x 8 screws that were removed in step 6.
10. Reinstall the fixed wheel (4).
11. On the top of the cable reel

, remove four M3 x 8 fastening screws on the housing cover.

Slide the housing cover in the direction of the arrow and remove it.
12. Connect the socket on the connecting cable

(2) of the socket strip to the cable reel connector (coupling).

Electrical connection between the socket strip and cable reel has been established.
13. Slide the cover onto the cable reel

(1).
14. Screw the housing cover onto the top of the cable reel using four M3x8 screws.
15. Install the cable reel on the bottom of the roller cabinet using suitable screws.
16. Apply the safety label

to the roller cabinet. Note the permitted area.
17. Connect to the power supply.

Perform functional testing.
»
Cable reel has been installed.
6.
Faults
Fault
Action
Cable reel becomes too hot.
Safety device is triggered at 60°C.
1. Disconnect from the power supply.
2. Allow to cool down.
»
The safety device will be automatically reset when the temperature falls be-
low 60°C.
Cable reel output voltage too high
The fuse trips if the maximum current of 10 A is exceeded.
