The footage is extracted to a temporary area on the hard drive before being written to the archiving device.
Once extracted, the footage is copied to the CD/DVD disc or USB Memory Stick.
NOTE: Depending on the amount of footage selected for archive, the extracting and burning process may
take some time, during which the DVR cannot be operated from the Front Panel or Handheld IR Remote.
Normal recording is unaffected by the archive process.
