SYSTEM : MAIL
SERVER
: The SMTP outbound e-mail server that should be used to send e-mail notifications.
PORT
: The outbound e-mail port number.
SECURITY
: Set to OFF if the SERVER does not require a username and password to connect.
USER
: Enter a username to identify the DVR in e-mail messages.
PASSWORD
: If SECURITY is set to ON, enter the password here.
TEST E-MAIL
: Used to test the E-mail function.
NOTE :
A username must be entered into this menu in order for the mail function to work properly.
The username cannot contain spaces.
SYSTEM : USER MANAGEMENT
By default, the DVR is configured with a user ID of ADMIN, which belongs to the ADMIN user group and
has an initial password of 1234.
As well as the ability to add new users, existing user details can be modified.
To modify user details, highlight the user with the green cursor and press
ENTER
.

menu. Click on a field to edit.
Then click the button to toggle ON/OFF.
Click the
USER MANAGEMENT
menu.
Double-click
ADMIN
on the GROUP menu to edit
the properties of the ADMIN user.
