5. Securing the filter assembly.
a. Install the main tank seal around the bottom of the 7 position multi-port valve.
See Figure 6.
NOTE:
Apply a good amount of silicone grease or pool lube around the seal
before installing it onto the valve. This will allow for an easier installation and
provide a better seal.
b. Install the valve onto the filter tank using the clamp ring and securing it with the included
5mm hex key. Make sure that the top of the manifold assembly fits into the bottom of the
valve. Tighten clamp until there is less than a
1
⁄

” gap between the 2 halves of the clamp.
c. Install all 3 threaded connectors (with o-rings) onto the valve. See Figure 6.
d. Install the pressure gauge. Do not to over tighten.
See Figure 6.
e. Install the included hose from the pump outlet port to the
filter intake port. Secure with the provided hose clamps.
NOTE: For smaller hoses a rubber reducer may be used.
See Figure 7.
6. Completed Assembly
The basic Filter-to-Pump Assembly should resemble Figure 7.
CAUTION
Ensure ALL hose connections are tight and the hoses
are NOT kinked or bent at severe angles. If the hoses are
leaking, check to make sure ALL of the parts with o-rings
have them attached and are screwed on tightly.
DO NOT over tighten hose clamps (35 in/lb max torque).
