5. G-PLAY OVERVIEW
USB 2.0 Port
– When connected to your Mac or PC, this
port provides power to G-PLAY and is used to transfer
media (audio, video, DVDs and images) to the unit. This
port is also used to power G-PLAY when playing back
content on a TV/Monitor.
AV Multi-Connector
– This connector provides the video
and audio output signals to your TV/Monitor. The
standard AV cable that ships with G-PLAY provides
Composite and S-Video output and analog stereo audio.
SPDIF
– Optional digital audio connector
The following optional AV cables are available for
purchase:

– YPbPr connection to high-end TV/HDTV’s
VGA
– for connection to CRT/Flat Panel monitors
SPDIF
– digital audio cable for Dolby Digital or DTS home
theater systems
SCART
– for connection to European TV’s

MPEG-4 (AVI, DivX, DivX VOD, XviD)
*Your personal DVDs can be copied to G-PLAY in ISO format. These files
can be played from G-PLAY at full DVD quality and with full DVD functions
including:Menus, Chapter selection, Audio stream selection, Subtitles, Fast
Forward, Fast Rewind, Slow, Pause, Step Forward, Repeat, and Search.
Audio:

Behind the front panel of G-PLAY are
an infrared receiver and Bi-Color LED.
When attached to a computer via the
USB port, this LED is green to
indicate power and green/yellow
when media is being transferred to
the unit. When attached to a TV, the
LED is green to indicate power and
flashes yellow when receiving a
command from the remote control.
