Muting the microphone during a call

key long again to switch off the loudspeaker.
Hold the radio set close to your ear like a telephone receiver for listening and
speaking when open listening is deactivated.


Muting the microphone during a call
If you are performing a call in duplex mode (full duplex voice connection), you can
mute the microphone to talk discreetly off the radio. Your called party will not be liste-
ning in.
Prerequisite:

Individual call in duplex mode (full duplex voice connection) is established.
Carry out the following work steps:
1. Press the

key long.
The microphone is muted. The person you have called or who has called you
cannot hear you.
2. Press the
‹*›
key long again to switch the microphone back on.

