• Firmware Version
Shows the firmware version currently installed on the ComPoint.
Note:
Firmware upgrades should only be made if problems occur with the
currently used firmware or if a newer firmware version with desired
new features is available. For details about how to make a firmware
upgrade, please refer to
How to Upgrade the Firmware on
Page 2–14 .
Interface
• MAC Address
The MAC address of the ComPoint.
• IP Address Mode
DHCP or static : Specifies whether the IP address of the ComPoint was
determined statically or assigned by a DHCP server.
• IP Address
The IP address of the ComPoint.
• Subnet Mask
Subnet mask of the network in which the ComPoint is located.
• Gateway Address
Shows the IP address of your default gateway.
Wireless
• Network Name
The network name (SSID) serves to logically assign clients. Only cli-
ents with the same network name are granted access to the wireless
network of the ComPoint.
• Channel
In this field, the active channel is specified which is shared by all
devices connected to this ComPoint. According to the country code,
up to 13 channels are available. As the factory setting, channel 6 is
preconfigured.
• Current Transmission Rate
Displays the current transmission rate.
