17.2 Automatic resets:

You  can  configure  automatic  resets  for  protection  alarms.  In  the  reset  menu  (

1.4.4

)  it  is  possible  to  define  the  Number  of  reset  attempts

(

1.4.4.1

), the interval between retries, and the period within which the reset will be retried.

If the number of attempts is set to the minimum value “Off ”, the reset will be manual only. If the number of attempts is set to the maximum value “Always”,

RCK-602

plus

will not limit the number of reset attempts, respecting only the times.

If the value is set between 1 and 10, this number of attempts will be made within the configured reset period (

1.4.4.3

), and a manual reset will be

required after this number of attempts.
Upon the occurrence of each protection alarm, the controller will check how many alarms of the same type occurred within the configured time. If it is
larger than the established time, the

will be locked in alarm condition and a manual reset will be required either via Sitrad or through the

pressostat

interface in the Control Menu, Reset option.
If the reset period has elapsed and the configured number of retries have not occurred, the retry counter will be reset.

17.3 Output signaling

Up to six digital alarm outputs can be configured in menu

1.4.5

. When configured, each output will be activated along with the visual alarm. The

activation mode of this alarm output can be either switched on or cycling.

!

Upon the occurrence of a protection alarm, the controller will check whether three
other alarms of the same type occurred within the last hour. If yes, the

pressostat

will be locked, otherwise it will be reset after five minutes.

Upon the occurrence of a protection alarm, the

 will be reset after five

pressostat

minutes with no retry limit and the reset period setting is indifferent.

Example 1:

Number of attempts = 3
Interval between attempts = 5 minutes
Reset period = 1 hour

Example 2:

Number of attempts = always
Interval between attempts = 5 minutes
Reset period = 1 hour

Upon the occurrence of a suction 1

alarm, digital output 5 will cycle with

pressostat

Ton and Toff = 5 seconds. It will be switched off after the alarm condition ceases or
after a reset.

Upon  the  occurrence  of  a  low  pressure  alarm  on  suction  1,  output  6  will  be
activated until a manual or automatic reset is performed.

Example: Configuring an output in menu

1.4.5.1.

Example: Configuring an output in menu

1.4.5.2.

Digital output = O5 (digital output 5)

Digital output = O6 (digital output 6)

Pressostat: Suction 1

Pressostat: Suction 1

Time on: 5 seconds

Time on: 0 seconds

Output function: Any alarm

Output function: Low pressure

Time off: 5 seconds

Time off: 0 seconds

17.ALARMS

Attention: By factory default, suction and discharge alarms are disabled and an appropriate limit must be configured depending on
the application.
