Removing the Fan Backplane

1. Remove the signal cable for the operator panel (1 in 

FIGURE 14-3

).

The cable is on the right side of the fan backplane.

2. Remove the signal cable connector for the motherboard unit (2 in 

FIGURE 14-3

).

The cable connector is on the rear side of the fan backplane.

3. Remove the four screws securing the fan backplane (3 in 

FIGURE 14-3

).
