Replacing the Roller Set

The roller set consists of a brake roller and a pick roller.
Replace each roller in the following procedure.

Remove all documents from the ADF paper chute (feeder).

Open the ADF.
For details, refer to

How to Open the ADF (page 32)

CAUTION

When the ADF is open, it might close accidentally. Be careful not to get your fingers
caught.

Remove the brake roller.

Press the cover bushing of the brake roller to open the cover in the direction of the arrow.
