Processors

Installing a second processor

Press the two springs of the locking lever first somewhat outside and then 
downward until they engage.

CAUTION!

Never operate a processor without heat sink or without processor fan as 
otherwise the processor may overheat and fail, causing the complete 
system board to fail.

Ê

Install the air duct as described in 

section “Inserting the air duct” on page 59

.

Ê

Close the server, connect it to the mains, and switch it on as described in 

section “Closing the server” on page 60

 et seq. .
