b. Single-ended output signal characteristics
An active negate driver shall be used for single-ended line signals. This driver can be in the
Assert, Negate, or High-Impedance state. Each signal supplied by the SCSI device shall have the
following output characteristics when measured at the connector position of SCSI device:

(Low-level output voltage) = 0.0 to 0.5 VDC if I

(High-level output voltage) = 2.5 to 3.7 VDC (Signal negate state)

The output characteristics (in signal negate state) shall be limited to allow operations in
the non-shaded areas only of Figure 1.53.
