Removing and installing components during servicing
Installing the M.2 module

LIFEBOOK U758: If relevant, insert the M.2 adapter in the service compartment.

Position the M.2 module in the slot on the mainboard at a slight angle,
in the direction of the arrow (1).

Secure the M.2 module in its location with the screw (2).
Removing the M.2 module

Loosen the screw (1).
The M.2 module folds slightly upwards.
►
Pull the M.2 module out of the slot on the mainboard in the direction of
the arrow (2) and remove it from the casing.

LIFEBOOK U758: If you wish to install an HDD hard disk instead of another M.2 module,
remove the M.2 adapter (under the M.2 module) from the service compartment and install the
HDD, see
"Removing and installing the hard disk (HDD, LIFEBOOK U758 only)", Page 79
