Gigabit LAN (RJ-45) Jack
The internal LAN (RJ-45) jack is used for an internal Gigabit (10Base-T/100Base-Tx/1000Base-T)
Ethernet LAN connection. See “Internal LAN (RJ-45) Jack” on page 86.
Modem (RJ-11) Telephone Jack
The Modem (RJ-11) telephone jack is for attaching a telephone line to the internal multinational 56K
modem. See “Modem (RJ-11) Telephone Jack” on page 85.
Serial Port
The serial port allows you to connect serial RS-232 devices, such as serial printers or serial scanners. See
“Serial Port” on page 88.
DisplayPort Jack
This allows you to attach a DisplayPort cable. DisplayPort cables are primarily used to connect a computer
with a monitor or home theater system. See “DisplayPort” on page 87.
