Memory configuration modes
There are four different configuration modes:
– Spare mode
– Interleaving mode
– Mirroring mode
– Hemisphere mode

After installing the DIMMs the necessary specific settings have to be
done within the BIOS of the server. See the "System Board D3141 BIOS
Setup Utility for PRIMERGY RX600 S6" manual for detailed information.
Spare mode
In spare mode, one pair of DIMMs will be spare for the other pairs. The spare
DIMMs must have the same capacity or higher than the other DIMMs.
DIMM sparing only relates to BOBs. There is no sparing over memory boards
or CPUs.
